Strange looking animals

A couple of weeks ago the BBC reported that the bizarre ‘grumpy looking’ blobfish had been voted the official mascot of the Ugly Animal Preservation Society, so we thought we’d look in our photo archives for similarly strange and wonderful beasts. Here are our faves:
