Amazon – a pristine wilderness?

Was the Amazon ever a pristine, untouched environment? This BBC documentary argues that humans shaped the Amazon rainforest more than is commonly believed, revealing huge manmade structures, and even cities, that were hidden under supposedly virgin forest.
