Award winning photographer Reinhard Dirscherl considers the underwater world to be his second home. After extensive experience photographing beautiful sights such as fluorescent coral reefs, giant turtles and magnificent whales he considers his favourite subjects to be the larger animals, especially sharks. Asked how he gets such great images, Reinhard replies: “Every nature photographer has to understand the behaviour of the animals. Otherwise he can’t shoot images of them. The animals decide if the photographer gets his perfect shot or not.”
