Every Spring Bank Holiday one of England’s most eccentric festivals is held: the Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling. Competitors chase a round 9lb Gloucester cheese down a hill, and the first to cross the finish line wins the cheese, which can reach speeds of up to 70mph.
