Pantone have announced that their colour of the year for 2018 is a gorgeous purple shade – PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet<\/a>. They say it ‘communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future’ reminding us that musical icons such as Prince, David Bowie, and Jimi Hendrix brought similar shades of Ultra Violet to the forefront of western pop culture as personal expressions of individuality.
