Having dedicated my life to travel photography – creating a\u00a0world famous\u00a0travel\u00a0photo agency<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a01100 photographers working in the far-flung corners of the globe – I know what makes a great travel image. We’re always on the hunt for new talent so\u00a0here are some of my top tips for all you aspiring travel photographers out there.<\/p>\n

1. Let us imagine\u00a0we’re there.\u00a0<\/strong>Capture shots\u00a0that entice your viewer\u00a0to\u00a0walk into the frame.\u00a0The best travel photos make you want to be there.<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Visit destinations during a cultural festival or event. <\/strong>Festivals provide\u00a0great photo opportunities.\u00a0Don’t forget to book accommodation early and arrive before the crowds though, as these events can get pretty packed – and make sure you find the best shooting positions BEFORE the action happens.<\/i><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

3. Find a high vantage point from which to shoot. <\/strong>Whether it’s Prague’s\u00a0Old Town Hall tower or a hot air balloon in Turkey, you’ll be able to capture stunning views from above.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

5. Fill the frame with colour.<\/strong> I love colour –\u00a0it\u00a0is the\u00a0essence of travel photography and creates\u00a0mood and atmosphere in your photographs.<\/em><\/p>\n
