He thinks\u00a0that patience and planning are the key to good landscape photography. \u201cYou need to understand the weather and know the area,&#8221; he says. &#8220;..or you\u2019re going to run around like crazy when the light comes. But you also need to be flexible. However, he insists that this will not change a landscape, just picture it the way we see it with our eyes. Like Adam, she\u00a0believes in respecting what you see, taking\u00a0a\u00a0naturalistic approach to colour: \u201cThere will always be a range of interpretations, as we all see colour differently,\u201d she says. \u201cBut I\u2019m always trying to be faithful to what I saw and felt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.robertharding.com\/preview\/847-382\/much-needed-rain-falls-distance-dusk-namibrand-nature\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6206 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.robertharding.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/847-382.jpg\" alt=\"Some much needed rain falls in the distance at dusk in NamibRand Nature Reserve, Namib Desert, Namibia, Africa\" width=\"480\" height=\"321\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.robertharding.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/847-382.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.robertharding.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/847-382-366x245.jpg 366w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Rain falls at dusk in NamibRand Nature Reserve, Namib Desert, Namibia, Africa<\/p>\n<p>Lizzie recommends that budding young photographers should take an open-minded approach, and experiment in different areas.
