Shot taken off Chioggia (VE) on one of the many rocky formations developed in the seabed of the upper Adriatic, called Tegnue. These bio-sediments are similar to coral reefs and for this reason they are also called Adriatic coral reefs.

The Richat structure is a geological formation in the Maur Adrar Desert in the African country of Mauritania. Although it resembles an impact crater, the Richat Structure formed when a volcanic dome hardened and gradually eroded, exposing the onion-like layers of rock.
