Michael Clapham

Retired Biology Lecturer, previously part of an integrated team of artists and a scientist (me!) running degree courses in scientific illustration and wildlife photography. I Gained photography experience over 24 years working with my team running field trips for students all over the UK and working with organisations such as Edinburgh Botanic Gardens, Jersey Wildlife Preservation Trust, bird of prey centres, Natural England, Wildlife Trusts and IUCN. Early photography inspiration came from John Shaw and Laurie Campbell.I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and have helped to organise many biology related events over the last 30 years including bioblitzes, ecology training days and biology quizzes for schools in the North West of England.I still give occasional lectures on ecology and biology using my photography.
