Robin Hanbury-Tenison

One of the few true explorers remaining today, Robin Hanbury-Tenison, OBE, has devoted much of his life to traveling the world’s rainforests and deserts while campaigning to protect these natural areas and their people. Robin, the author of more than 25 books, many of which are still in print, is also a celebrated photographer. He received critical acclaim for his exhibition at the National Theatre, Echoes of a Vanished World: A Traveller’s Lifetime in Pictures, which details his first encounters with pristine places and remote cultures. His latest book, Taming the Four Horsemen, is a powerful critique on the major challenges facing the world today and how they can be overcome.
