Holland, Michigan, Veldheers was founded in 1955 by Vernin Veldheer as a hobby with 100 red tulips and 300 white tulips. In 1997 Veldheers had planted over 4 million tulips, 500,000 Daffodils, 10,000 Hyacinths and 20,000 other spring flowers each year for the past decade.
