People shots make up a large proportion of our photo archive as they tell us so much about places and cultures and can really create that wow factor. In the sixth in my series of tips on how to get the best portraits on your travels, here is a simple idea to help you tell a human story.

Tip 6: Photograph people holding interesting props and objects – these can help to tell a story about the person’s life and culture. You can also take close-up shots of the objects to provide a different perspective.
