UK based travel and wildlife photographer Andrew Sproule travelled to Japan to photograph these incredible, strangely human snow monkeys, otherwise known as Japanese macaques, as they bathe in hot springs to escape the freezing climate they live in. No other primates in the world, apart from humans, live further north than these macaques. Andrew’s work has been widely published in magazines, newspapers, and books including Condé Nast Traveler, The Guardian, The Times, and The Telegraph.
