Despite travelling widely, talented photographer Karen Deakin loves to photograph her home – Scotland – best of all. “There are so many beautiful landscapes and seascapes on offer,” she says, “..but the most formidable offering has to be the Highlands of Scotland for its dramatic mountainous ranges.” Despite its small size, the U.K.’s northernmost country is densely packed with stunning attractions and superb wildlife. Out of all its treasures, Karen particularly loves the raw, elemental beauty of Glencoe, where she frequently returns: “It’s a particular favourite of mine and was where my husband proposed,” she says.
