Brazil is in the world’s spotlight right now, thanks to the upcoming World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games. But many visitors to these events won’t get to appreciate the true breadth of the world’s largest tropical country. As well as Carnival, football and pristine beaches, Brazil has colourful colonial towns, breathtaking Amazonian wildlife, iconic architecture and a rich mix of cultures.
