Holi festival of colours

Holi is a Hindu celebration of the end of winter. It is celebrated throughout India and Nepal, although copycat events are held all over the world. People throw coloured powder and water over each other, turning the streets into huge, riotous parties. We picked some of our favourite photos of Holi from our photo archive.
