The building was formally the Salley Manufacturing Plant, an apparel company that closed and moved operations to Honduras leaving about 100 people out of work. Global Investment Recovery refurbished the building and stated a state-of-the-art electronics recycling operation. They process all of the South Carolina government e-scrap for 21 cents a pound.
